Grundrisse Revitalized II is my 22nd album. It is an unfinished project. It represents reality: "Due to its breadth and its incorporation of themes from Marx's earlier writings, the Grundrisse is central to Marx's body of work. Its subject matter includes production, distribution, exchange, alienation, value, labor, capitalism, the rise of technology and automation, pre-capitalist forms of social organization, and the preconditions for a communist revolution." It is an analysis of the surrounding world - we have become a parasitic and degenerative species whose host is the entire biosphere - made only possible by the continuation of societal practices which are detrimental to our actual biological behavior. However, those patterned forces which network the Superstructure are becoming ever more fragile; global economic crisis, environmental crisis, the inhibition of our consciousness, the sixth mass extinction, etc. But our ability to organize, globally connect, and use science is at an ever increasing high...

The Genre: This is an exemplification - the exemplification (since I invented the genre) of "Amphetamine Trap." Amphetamine Trap is a fast Trap variant (155-200 BPM); the emphasis is on the percussive elements and time multiplication. A unique guideline or facet is that the time of the track being mixed is not altered, as a result the percussion is made to multiples of that time; the result is non-differentiation between several time multiples. This is layered and mastered in a spacious and ambient fashion to allow for more sound and showcasing (this is usually atypical in most hip-hop variants). In addition, tracks might also incorporate other experimental elements. Tracks tend to follow a progressive lineage - especially where percussion is concerned, however vocals and motifs still adhere to traditional hip-hop structures. This is offset by the percussive elements which cause constant automation. It is a complex type of IDM; It has a psychostimulant feel as opposed to psychedelic.
