At the time of sunrise I'd skipped my lines
Took a stroll through the sand as I did all the time

Egypt is large and the sands blew about
Like the voices of nothing all bearing to shout

A rhyme to the Earth a sweet airy song
That I sang to the Earth as I ripped from the bong

Until the sun was gone and my voice was dry
and the song was shriveled far beyond a cry...

A glowing red sky hangs over the Nile
The Evening Star sets the inception of my trial

At this time of the moon,
I ceased this tune, and arose from the dark with a new song to croon

Yes, the water swirled about atop the desert sands
and the wind blew a song through the barren lands

And upon its completion, the world stilled
The depths opened up and my heart was filled
